Financial Policy / Insurance
Our office is in-network with the following dental insurance:
Aetna PPO
Delta Dental PPO
Metlife PPO
United Concordia PPO (including Tricare)
United Healthcare Benefits PPO
In-Network Insurance: Estimated co-pays and/or deductibles will be due at the time of service. We will submit the insurance claim on your behalf. If a balance remains on your account after the insurance company processes your claim, the balance will be due immediately upon notification.
Out-of-Network Insurance: Payment is due in full at the time of service. We are happy to help guide you through the insurance claim reimbursement process.
Understanding Dental Insurance: Dental insurance is best defined as a benefits plan. This means that dental insurance is designed to help cover a portion of the total cost of your treatment needs. Your dental insurance coverage is not determined by your dentist. Most dental insurance plans are obtained through work employment, where contracts are made between your employer and a dental insurance company. Each individual contract determines the level of dental insurance coverage.
Dental Insurance Lease Networks: Some insurance plans will lease its network of providers to other insurance plans, allowing patients of those leased network plans greater access to in-network providers. For example, United Concordia leases its network to Ameritas and Principal Life, allowing patients who have Americas or Principal Life to go to United Concordia in-network providers.
Please note that treatment recommendations are based on your child’s needs, not by the level of insurance coverage.
