After earning my undergraduate degree at Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!), I joined the US Navy through the Health Professions Scholarship Program. I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. My first assignment was at Camp Lejeune, NC, which included a deployment to Iraq.
I was selected by the Navy for specialty training and graduated from the Pediatric Dentistry residency program at Indiana University School of Dentistry/Riley Hospital for Children. I was a staff pediatric dentist at Walter Reed Bethesda hospital for my last duty assignment. I continue my affiliation with the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, MD as a guest lecturer for continuing education courses throughout the year.
After a few years of associating in private practice in Northern Virginia, I am excited to continue the legacy of providing quality pediatric dental care in Burke, VA. We proudly serve families in Burke, Springfield, Fairfax Station, Lorton and surrounding communities.
Along the journey I met my husband, a Marine Corps helicopter pilot, and created lifelong friendships with fellow colleagues and mentors. We have two young boys who continue to make life interesting and fun. We enjoy all Northern Virginia has to offer – you might even find me doing flips at the local gymnastics club or out in the community with our two boys!
